The Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers(IETE) is the national apex body of professional engineers dedicated to promote the science and technology of Electronics, Telecommunications, Computers, IT and allied areas.

Established in 1953, IETE is a professional society with a mission to advance the science and technology of electronics, telecommunications, computer science, Information technology and related disciplines.

IETE serves more over 50,000 members, both individuals and organizations/industries from India and abroad.

IETE conducts various short-term courses / workshops/ seminar to keep the aspiring professionals from Industry and R & D organizations involved in production and research in frontier areas of technology up to date.

The Bangalore center of IETE is one of the most active centers of the Institution striving to achieve the motto “ Sahaveeryam Karavahe (let us do great things together) ”

OBJECTIVES

  • To plan and organise Technical Programmes & Activities.
  • To provide a common platform for the student members to exchange ideas and information of the topics of their interest.
  • To facilitate Technical visits / Practical Training / Project work / Employment.
  • To encourage Team work & the sprit of Self- Reliance.
